Today, I help women rewrite their own narrative - whether moms, executives, supervisors, or partners - by building the kind of unshakable confidence that changes not just careers, but lives.
I entered this world with limited resources, navigated life with a non-apparent biracial identity, moved out on my own at 16, and earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology just ten years later. Along the way, I became a mom to two strong, independent daughters - my greatest motivation to make the world better for women.
I’ve broken glass ceilings, earned seats at tables that weren’t built for women like me, and led with both heart and strategy in complex, high-pressure environments. That journey also took me through more than 15 years in higher education leadership.
From the boardroom to the classroom to 1:1 coaching calls, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside incredible women - helping them find their voice and own their power.
I started at Austin College, a small liberal arts school, for my undergrad, then headed to Texas Tech University to earn my PhD in Counseling Psychology.
I’ve worked everywhere from a cancer center hospital to community mental health agencies, counseling clinics, and college campuses. In other words: I’ve seen people at their most human, and learned what actually helps.
I’m endlessly curious about leadership, workplace psychology, equity and inclusion, relationships, change, and what helps people truly thrive.
I’ve spoken at conferences, companies, corporations, nonprofits, fraternities and sororities, and community events, and am known for talks that are engaging, grounded, and actually stick.
